This is a Special Edition made in 1991, only 4000 were made, this is #880 . The car is British Racing Green in color with a tan leather interior. All of the options that came with the car in are with the car. Included is a pristine 1991 MAZDA brochure for this Special Edition Miata. Included are leather wrapped steering wheel, wood shift knob, by NARDI, and a wood handbrake grip, a NEW, never used in the bag tonneau cover, which covers the complete cockpit area, or zip in half to drive the car with the passenger side covered, instructions included, all snaps in place. Also is a black vinyl softtop, with a glass rear window, which needs to be installed. | 1974 PORSCHE 914 2.2. This is an almost zero maintenance 914. Forget about
dropping the exhaust to adjust valves. Or changing and setting points. Don't need to. This
overhauled engine with only 20k miles on it, sports HYDRAULIC LIFTERS and
ELECTRONIC IGNITON. The interior has been completely refurbished with stock basket weave vinyl
except for the dash, which has a new cover. All gauges in console work, including cylinder
head temp. Momo steering wheel. Door handles and locks--a common problem with these cars--
work perfectly. Both trunks have new carpeting and no rust in fact the only rust on the car
was the battery tray--which has been replaced. Pioneer Super III in dash CD with large speakers
and teeny tweeters provides full sound. Recent, decent paint. Bursch exhaust delivers deep, distinctive tone. (newish muffler)
Built-in trickle charger. Shift bushings all replaced. This car shifts positively. Stainless
steel brake lines. Eight spoke Empi style wheels wrapped in 195.50.15 rubber with 70% remaining.

| 1971 Light Gold Original color, with a 1.8L low compression (cheap gas) with the dual progressive carbs Engine has about 9000 miles on a $2000 rebuild. The mileage on the car is an original 76k as verified by the original owner and paperwork from having the speedometer rebuilt for a restoration about 4-5 years ago. Car runs absolutely perfect, the dual progressives are great. Electric chokes make cold starts a breeze, and throttle progression is smooth all the way to redline. The trans was converted to side shift, and was rebuilt recently not long ago. it has new bearings which are very expensive a new first gear synchro, Shifting is perfect. New pedal bushings, some new brake lines, new motor and trans mounts, new clutch, new rotery fuel pump, optima battery, New rear calipers with Pads. New Turbo Tie Rods and ball Joints, and front wheel bearings. The interior is great, the original owner did avation upholstry, so he did a fantastic job when he recovered the seats. As a whole, interior is very very nice. The car was garaged in the desert since new, I've seen a ton of 914's and I can say that this one is really rust free. It has had a front fender replaced but it was done correctly and not noticeable untill you really inspect it and know what to look for. This car also has a interesting story to go along. It was recently purchased by a fellow club member from the Orig Owner. The car was re-vin'd sometime in the 80's to hide the car from the IRS, that has now since been worked out and the car is back to the orig factory vin. I purchased this car from Dan Root, June 28 2002, and proceeded to drive it
to CAMP where I stripped it down to have the paint removed and a black
repaint done to the car. This is a 1974 Original black 2.0 914. It was
converted to a 2.0 six cylinder with factory oil tank, heat exchanger
exhaust, five lug conversion, 904 three gauge coversion, Koni shocks front
and rear, as well as front and rear factory sway bars. This car was
completely stripped to bare metal, no bondo or rust or body damage was found
on the car. I have pics to show. It sat for at least 2 years. I finally
collected the car and had a top notch body and paint person go over the car
like it were his own, and it shows. The inside of the trunks are as shiny as
the body on the outside. All of the doors and lids were removed when the
painting was being done. All of the gaps were aligned perfectly. During the
time that the car was sitting I was constantly on the lookout for new or NOS
and NLA parts to put back on this car. Lots of parts were replaced with new factory parts. Foglite grilles, targa bar trim, windshield trim, turn signal buckets, tailight housings, lenses, headlight surrounds, numerous rubber items and seals. Pieces that weren't replaced were polished or cad plated as were all of the latches. Front and rear bumpers had the holes filled, triple concours chrome plated, then new bumper tops, the lower valances were stripped and smooth painted black. The "complete" interior was completely covered in red by Dr Evil and his band of merry men in TJ. The dashpad and kneepad are installed and they are black. I have red to match the other interior if wanted. The carpet is brand new Original Fit interiors, salt and pepper There is a new windshield, and a newly sealed rear window. | This is extremely original and complete (tool kit, owners manual and maintenance book, foot rest, etc). Even the remains of the early cold start system are in place. The car has about 101,400 miles on it at this time. It is quite sound mechanically but there is no record of any major engine work. Driven to Camarillo, CA to Lancaster, CA to Portland for WCC '05 in April. The engine used less than 2 quarts of oil. Eric Shea did a quality brake rebuild. All lights (incl. fogs), signals, horn, wipers, ventilation fan, etc. work properly. It has the original working Blaupunkt am-fm with stock speakers. The carpet, seats and back pad are original and excellent. The door panels have been re-done in correct smooth vinyl. The dash basket weave was replaced I think. The dash pad is excellent with no cracks. The driver seat cushion has a small cut in the center, hard to see but it is there. The car came to me with 5.5x14" Fuchs and 195/75x14 Michelin all season tires. These are as close as possible to the original 185's. As a result the speedo and gear ratios are correct. They allowed a very comfortable ride on a long trip. In addition 4 6x16" Boxster wheels and installed new 195x55 tires. It has a later style rear bumper but I have a correct one that needs to be re-chromed. The paint and body work were done to a very high standard by a fellow who has done several concours Jaguars. All rubber seals were replaced when the car was reassembled after painting (2004). This is a 914-6 that will only be going up in value. Very basic 914-6s in need of lots of TLC are selling for the high teens. Cars like this one are selling in the mid to upper 20's. This excellent example of a beautiful 914-6 is well priced at $23,000. |

| 1972 1.8 Project car, Silver, originally Adriatic Blue. This car is aslo rust free. This car was the first Porsche that the PO ever owned. He had the floor pans replaced and then painted with POR-15 top and bottom. All of the lids and doors were removed and the car was then painted. The front and rear trunks, engine bay were also painted. The body is a 1972, but the motor and trans are a 1975 1.8. Many of the 1975 components were transfered to this car. | 1973 MGBGT THE CAR:(General) 1973 is the most desirable year for these cars for many. The full syncro gearbox is superior to the gearbox in earlier cars. 1973 was the last model year before the fully federalized cars which came with big rubber bumpers, raised suspenison, and a single carb. 1973 cars had the modernized SU type HIF twin carbs which featured improved float system, spring loaded mixture needles, and improved performance. While some collectors prefer the wire wheels for thier appearance, the "Rostyle" wheels standard on the 1973 were troublefree, strong, straight and true. Wire wheels are a maintainers nightmare. The previous owner was a professional mechanic. The last owner owned the car for 18 years, so the car had been professionally and properly maintained with no effort or expense spared. He owned a British Car parts, repair and restoration shop at the time and the resources were readily available. BODY: Approximately 16 years (and only 5000 miles) ago the car underwent a complete "street" restoration. All the typical MBG problems were addressed at that time. Complete new inner and outer rocker panels, and lower fenders were replaced with factory sheet metal. All rubber was replaced including windshield and hatch seals. Hood, grille, bumpers and many other parts were new at this time. The interior was also restored with factory NOS upholstery. The paint bubbles that appear at the upper fender seams are typical and unavoidable MGB problem arising from the lap and bead fender joint. They are a cosmetic problem but seldom indicate any structural damage. For the last 16 years the car has been garaged and covered except for the occasional dry weather drive. It was retired as a daily driver at that time and has only seen a few hundred miles use per year since then. ENGINE: Approximately 5000 miles ago since a very complete rebuild. New pistons in a .020 rebore, new factory stock cam, lifters, rebuilt rocker assy. pistons and rods and rotating assembly included clutch, and flywheel balanced, carbs rebuilt. New cylinder head, valves, guides. New Clutch, pressure plate, and release bearing. This was a first rate no expense spared job by Bob Macherones Sports Car Shop in Eugene, Oregon and would cost $7000 in todays dollars. RECENT WORK: New fuel pump, new premium battery, new water pump, new Michelin tires, rebuilt front calipers, radiator recore and tune up. NEEDED: I believe this car can be driven daily for much less than the usual upkeep required by a 30 year old vehicle. The Sebro exhaust system is showing it's age and will need replacemnt eventually. The rear brakes have not been looked at in a long time and the entire system could use a re-bleed. Windscreen has a small crack and some fogging in the lower edge. Small tear in the driver"s seat. This car was taken in recently on trade for a 914-6 at CAMP 914. Since we like all cars we are never adverse to looking at trades, and this one was not to be passed on, it is very nice MGB. $7500. |
